I Love HOWIE!!!

Last weekend my Sorority sister, Dixie, came in town for work! Since she has a great job working for Epic Records, she invited us to meet Howie Day and watch the show. He is one of the nicest people you will ever meet, not to mention he is unbelieveably talented. Here are just a few pics from the night! It was so much fun....Thanks Dixie!

Our First Year of Marriage!

Durbin & I can't believe it's already been a year! We've had the most wonderful time just trying to get used to being married....it's actually fun! Although we haven't even picked out our pictures for the album yet, we have some from our friends to just remember our special day. We wanted to thank my parents for the most amazing wedding....and stressfree! We couldn't have asked for more. Oh, as many of you know, our wedding was in The Ladue News a while back. DIAMONDS for our 1 year!

I was totally surprised when Durbin gave me more diamonds for our 1 year anniversary. I thought Vegas was going to be so wonderful and before we left he gave me the most beautiful 3 diamond necklace to wear while we were there. There's not much more of me left to cover:) He's covered by ears, neck, wrist, and hands! It's hard to see but it's three 1 ct diamonds standing for the past, future, and present! Thank you Durbin!

VEGAS Anniversary Weekend

For our 1 year anniversary, I surprised Durbin with a weekend in Vegas at the Bellagio. This is part one of our celebration since next month we're going to Antigua for 2 weeks to continue the celebration! Well, Vegas was amazing! We had an absolute blast. Although we spent most of our time gamling, we did find some time to visit Old Vegas down on Freemont street as well as The Little White Wedding Chapel to attempt to renew our vows:) Elvis was sleeping at 4am so we didn't get to see him:) We had such a great time meeting everyone from Canada to North Carolina to LA! It's definitely a great thing to leave Vegas a winner! We only took about 50 pictures, but here's a few of our favorites! Happy Anniversary Durbin!

1 YEAR ANNIVERSARY....VEGAS THAN ANTIGUA

We can't believe we've been married for almost a year! Time has flown by so quickly! Although we're going to Antigua for two weeks next month, I wanted to surprise Durbin with a little quick getaway on our actual anniversary weekend! So....I thought the Bellagio in Vegas would be a nice last minute trip. We're leaving next friday and will hopefully return with lots of money:) We're hoping for great luck and a nice stroll through that Elvis Wedding Chapel. There's nothing better than renewing your wedding vows in a Vegas Chapel, right?

It should all be quite entertaining!

Well, Durbin and I would just like to thank all of our friends and family for their continued support through the waiting period for Durbin's Residency!!! We are so happy to say that we will be STAYING in St. Louis!!

As a 2nd part of our 1 year and a "last vacation" for a while we are headed to Anitgua for 2 weeks coming up in May. It should be a blast!
So, before we have to grow up, he's to one last "adventure!!":)

At 9:15 on January 23, 2009 my 1st nephew John "Jack" James Inkley, IV was born! He's absolutely adorable! There's nothing better than seeing a newborn baby that less that 5 minutes old! He cried a little, but seemed more excited to just scope out his new surroundings!! We're so excited and can't wait until he goes home. Congrats to my Brother for not passing out!

Night out with Dixie

Thanks to Facebook, Dixie and I were reunited!!! We haven't seen each other in about 9 years....since we were living in the Theta house at U of I. Dixie currently works for Epic Records and was in St. Louis for a couple nights. So, of course we were going to have to get together and catch up. It was great seeing her again. She hasn't changed a bit since college and I love it! We had a blast reminiscing about old Theta days and how we even thought sequins and boas were in style....at the bar! What were we thinking??? I'm so happy she's picked up St. Louis as part of her new territory and can't wait until next time she comes in town.....should be even more interesting than last night!

Birthday Dinner at Tony's

I wasn't expecting much since my parents have been so kind with giving us an amazing Wedding, Honeymoon, and Christmas. As always, they shocked me with great gifts, one being a new professional camera so I can begin my new hobby....photography! I was so grateful for everything and appreciate all they do for me! Also, my parents took the family to Tony's to celebrate the Big 32! Not only is the food amazing at Tony's, but we even had a chance to chat with Tony LaRussa! Thanks Mom & Dad for a wonderful birthday! I couldn't have asked for anything more!!

Thanks to Beth and Kevin and all my other great friends, I had a blast on my birthday! Everyone that I wanted there, was there! It was an amazing night and I truly appreciated everyone coming out to celebrate my 2nd anniversary of my 30th Birthday! It's amazing how just because it's a birthday, friends always have a way of making the day even more special! I love you all!
