Christmas Eve 2011

We were so excited to host Christmas Eve this year! It was wonderful to see some of our family and be thankful for what we have and those we are close to in life! We had 4 little ones here....all GIRLS...perfect! It was a blast! There's nothing better than watching these little ladies play together and act like little adults! It was so great to see all those who came and we are thankful to have you in our lives!

Girls Weekend

In early December 2 of my best friends in the whole world, Amanda and Dameron, came in town to visit. They were 2 of my 10 bridesmaids, and I do NOT get to see them nearly enough! Now, as we all know, I would NEVER leave Evy and go out of town to party with the girls or even Durbin, but 7 hours didn't seem too harmful! We definitely made up for lost time!!! More memories were made and all my girls solidified why you are all in my life.....you ROCK!

Now there are a few "men" in the pictures...our guys friends ended up bardging in on ladies weekend, but it was well worth it....fun times had by all!
See you all next year for our "weekend!

Turkey Day 2011

We were so excited to see our family this year, especially cousin Johnny, for Thanksgiving! It's always a great time to get together with Evy's little cousin and extended cousins! They are all so close in age, it makes gatherings so much fun! We are so thankful to have you all in our lives! Can't wait to see more of you!

It's Turkey Day!

Trunk-or-Treat

For Halloween at Evy's School they have a Trunk-or-Treat every year. This consists of all the mommies and daddies filling their cars with candy and treats while the kids go around and collect yummies and tell funny jokes. I am so glad that regardless of whether or not I decided to stay home with Evy that she isn't missing any of these great opportunities. Being in a school setting has truly given her chances to advance, learn, interact with other children and make many new friends....and even a boyfriend named Lincoln:) These children as so adorable and truly enjoyed every second of Halloween!

World Series 2011

Durbin and I were fortunate enough to go to the World Series games in 2011!!! They truly were spectacular! Congrats to the Cards for pulling off one of the most amazing wins in the history of baseball!!!

Visit to Indy!

In October, Durbin left for Flight Surgeon School in Dayton, OH for a month. I'm so proud of him for having a major role in his Air Force unit, even if it means he has to leave for an extended period of time. Only a few of the members of his unit, physicians, are required and honored to attended this school, and for those, I have the utmost respect! It's hard and takes you away from your family, but it's well worth it in the end.
It was pretty hard knowing that we wouldn't see him for a month so we decided to meet him about half way each weekend in Indianapolis. We managed to find some fun things for Evy to do since we didn't want to be stuck in a hotel room all weekend. The only thing we seemed to find "good" about the state of Indiana is the Children's Museum:) It was amazing! There is so much to do there for children of all ages. If you all ever have the chance to visit this museum....it's a definite thriller:)

Need I say more about Indiana.....:) Lol

Oh Barbie....she couldn't run fast enough!
